Green Day

Do you know your enemy? C'mon know your enemy.

This (soon to be) legendary punk band from Oakland, California have conquered our ears and our hearts with classics like 1994's "Basketcase" and new, delicious and politically incorrect songs like "American Idiot" and their new single "Know Your Enemy" (the video premieres tomorrow!) .

The band have released 5 mainstream and 2 independent records, and another one, the "21 Century Breakdown" is coming.

They have been critiziced so many times, but, with a long trajectory and many succesful singles released, this rock trio have won a place on music's history, and also on politics and environmental issues, because they support those causes in which they believe, and incite us to do the same.

Some of their songs are very popular, and by this I mean you can hear them everywhere, I think everybody have heard at least one song from Green Day, but in case you don't, or you want to listen it again (which is more probable), here are some of their songs:

The Sounds

"The party always starts and ends with The Sounds!"

This fresh, new wave band from Sweden released their first album, "Living in America" in 2002, and  "Dying to Say This To You" on 2006; They are one of the most sticky things I've heard in a while, and I bet you too; you probably have heard of them because of their colaboration with Cobra Starship on their song "Bring It" but they have more songs, each one cooler than the last one, and an upcoming album, "Crossing the Rubicon"  that I bet it's going to be a blast!

Right now, they just finished an Europe tour with Fall Out Boy and they're about to start a tour full of girl power, headlining No Doubt, and also Paramore it's in there, if you are able to go, you totally should, it's 100% worth.

Just as a fact, Dave Grohl wore a red Sounds t shirt on the Foo Fighters' video "Times Like These"

These are some of my favorite songs from them:

Painted By Numbers

Living In America

Ego
