November 11, 2009HeartLet us go Crazy on you.
This band, formed in the early 70's when Ann Wilson joined Roger Fischer and formed Hocus Pocus. She met Roger's brother, Mike, at a Hocus Pocus show, they fell in love and she moved to Canada with him. Heart was officially formed when Roger Fischer and Steve Fossen (Hocus Pocus bassist) joined the couple in Late 1972-early 73. Ann's sister, Nancy joined them after dropping college some time after. Despite the fact that the Fischer brothers were founder members, they both left the band and the only members that have been constant through time are the Wilson sisters. After releasing a demo they got signed to canadian Mushroom Records. Under this label, they released only one album, Dreamboat Annie, which became a major success for them, with singles as "Crazy On You" and "Magic Man" They left their label because of the publicity they did for the record was misinterpreted and suggested that the sisters were lesbian lovers. Ann wrote the lyrics to their biggest hit, "Barracuda" after this situation. The band changed a bit their style in the mid-80's, getting more into power ballads instead of hard rock. Then in the 90's, they went on hiatus. The sisters started doing things again in the early 2000s and released a new record. Ann released a solo album in 2007. The band was a pioneer in things as mixing acoustic and electric guitars, as well as having women playing rock songs, and the sisters are two of the most influential women in rock. And the band is simply awesome. And, as a curious fact, Nancy is married to film director Cameron Crowe and have made a few cameos in his movies, including "Almost Famous". -Dreamboat Annie (1976) -Magazine (1978) -Dog & Butterfly (1978) -Bebe Le Strange (1980) -Private Audition (1982) -Passionworks (1983) -Heart (1985) -Bad Animals(1987) -Brigade (1990)
-Jupiter's Darling (2005)

October 22, 2009Foo Fighters
During his Nirvana years, Dave Grohl used to write stuff that he kept it for himself because he felt it wasn't good enough, compared to what Kurt Cobain used to write (we, the fans of Foo Fighters have to disagree). Some time after Nirvana disbanded, and after reject a lot of offers, including the permanent position and drummer of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, he decided to start a solo project: "I was supposed to just join another band and be a drummer the rest of my life, I thought that I would rather do what no one expected me to do. I enjoy writing music and I enjoy trying to sing, and there's nothing anyone can really do to discourage me." He recorded twelve of his songs after the seudonim of "Foo Fighters", being this the first, homonymous record. He played every instrument by himself, and made vocals in every track. After the unexpected success (for him, because it's a really good album and every magazine and specialized media gave good reviews of it) this record had, he had to find a supporting band; he thought about inviting Kris Novoselic (Ex- bass player of Nirvana) to this new band, but both agreed that it would be weird for the public, so, after Sunny Day Real Estate disbanded, he invited bassist Nate Mendel and drummer William Goldsmith to join him. The group played its debut show at a keg party in February 1995, and made their live debut on a big venue on March 3, 1995 during a show at The Satyricon in Portland. Goldsmith left the band during the recording of the second album, "The Colour and the Shape". The current members are Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel and Chris Shiflett. The have released 6 magnificent records: Foo Fighters (1995), The Colour and the Shape (1997), There Is Nothing Left to Lose (1999), One by One (2002), In Your Honor (2005)(Double disc) and Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace (2007) This time I can't embed the videos due to copyright restrictions, but I highly recomend you to watch Times Like These (Check out, Dave's t shirt), Learn To Fly, Everlong, The Pretender, Big Me and Monkey Wrench. October 20, 2009Criminal Minds-related Questions.Miss Futileassayer is so awesome that she actually turned my "Harry Potter-related Questions" journal into a "Criminal Minds-related Questions" journal. How cool is that? 01. If you were a part of the BAU, which area would you specialize in/who's place(work wise) would you like to be in? I´d like to be an specialist in "just about everything". Also Garcia's skills. Geez! She's awesome. 02. What did you think of Gideon's decision to leave? I don't really know. It was confusing. And sad. 03. How many seasons have you seen? Almost 4. (That's almost the entire series 'til now.) But I missed half of the 3rd season, I've seen some now, but I still haven't watched all. 04. Which character do you find most intriguing? Reid. Probably because I'm obsessed with topics related to inteligence. (And because he's really hot cute, but that has nothing to do with the pschology of the character) 05. Which character do you most associate with? Geez! I don't know. Garcia, maybe. A little bit of Reid and a little bit of Prentiss (when she gets mad) 06. Have you ever felt you could relate to an UnSub(however unsettling it may have seemed)? I don't think so... I really don't remember. 07. What do you think of Elle's reason for having to leave the BAU? It's ok, mean, they almost killed her!!! 08. What was your reaction to Spencer being taken hostage by the delusional UnSub? *gasps* NOOOOOOOO REID NOOOOO!!! 09. Which is the scariest[gore/psychological impact/whatever] episode you have seen? Everything involving canibalism freaks me out. Also the one with the burnt guy who thought he was in the Mediaeval era and gave Reid the key to the room where the girl was and then the building explode... you know which one, right? 10. When did you first become a Criminal Minds fan? I started to watch it when Season 2 was running. Since then. 11. First episode you ever watched? I don't remember. I saw minutes of lots of episodes before I actually started watching it. Favorites Female Character? Garcia. She's awesome. Male Character? REID, OBVIOUSLY. UnSub? The one who made the anthrax. I'm jealous of his knowledge. Quote? Basically all of the quotes from people with historical relevance they say in every episode. And: Garcia: "He's had a couple of minor arrests - one for marijuana possession, one for lewd behavior, which I'm guessing is code for "gay" in Texas." Reid: Sorry I'm late. Prentiss: D.C. time, Garcia. Prentiss: Is there any possibility that, while we've been talking, you've been multitasking? Reid: It's remarkable. Something like this makes you question everything you thought you knew. Couple? Morgan+Garcia, They're funny, eventhough they're not actually a romantic couple. Episode? All. Except the one where that blonde bitch kisses Reid. It makes my stomach grrrrrrrrrr. (LOL, not really, ok?) This or That Rossi or Gideon? Gideon. Prentiss or Greenaway? Emily Prentiss. Elle was... kind of... weak? I don't know, she just didn't convince me. Morgan or Reid? DR. SPENCER REID. WHY IS THAT EVEN A QUESTION? Garcia or JJ? Penelope Garcia. Because she's crazy. Hayley-Hotch or JJ-William? JJ- William, because they're still together. Spencer taken hostage or Derek being accused of murder[more traumatizing to watch]? Poor Spencer. :'( That Dawson dude became crazy after Joey left him, but why did he have to do that to Reid?

October 19, 2009Human beings are the worst kind of animals. How come we, the only specie with the ability to think, is the one that is the most dangerous, for the world and for ourselves? How come we, the only specie that is not dominated by its instincs, is the one which causes more harm when we follow them? How come we, being the only specie that can actually think about the counsequences of everything we do, do not care at all? An animal is considered "bad" when it is savage, carnivore and/or threatening in some way. Human beings can be bad by doing half of the things they usually do: lie, steal, manipulate, rape, kill. I'm not saying that all human beings are bad, but, can't we do something to "improve" ourselves?

Alanis Morissette
This Canadian singer-songwritter, who is also a producer, is one of the biggest record sellers of all times, and her "Jagged Little Pill" is the biggest selling debut album of all time (even though it was her third album), the third biggest selling album by a female artist and the seventh biggest selling album of all time. Her style can be labeled as "alternative rock" and maybe a little folk, but it doesn't really matter, the truth is, whatever her genre is, she is a really good singer, and a very good songwritter as well, and we all know we need some good songwritters!!! If you haven't heard any of her stuff, I highly recoment it, you won't regret it.

October 15, 2009QueenThe Killer Queen.
This awesome british band was formed in 1970. They became famous quickly, due their good music and great live performances. If you're from another galaxy and don't know anything about them, let me tell you that they just are the #13 of the Best Hard Rock bands, acording to the VH1 list; their 1985 Live Aid performance was voted the best live rock performance of all time, they have the record of the biggest attendance to a concert in Hyde Park (150 000 people); according to The Guinness Book of World Records, Queen albums have spent a total of 1,322 weeks or twenty-seven years on the United Kingdom album charts; more time than any other musical act including The Beatles and Elvis Presley; in 2006, the Greatest Hits album was found to be the United Kingdom's all-time best selling album, with sales of +5,407,587 copies, that's over 604,295 more copies than its nearest competitor, The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band; Queen is also the only group in which every member has composed more than one chart-topping single from their eighteen number one albums, eighteen number one singles, and ten number one DVDs worldwide. Also, on January 2007, it was announced that Queen's Greatest Hits I & II was the most downloaded album on iTunes in the US. And they're the most boothlegged band ever, a 2001 survey revealed the existence of 12,225 websites dedicated to Queen bootlegs, the highest number for any band. They have released fifteen studio albums and five live albums. They probably have like a million compilations too. And thet's just an intro. Contrary to the majority of people's belief, Queen didn't disband after Freddie Mercury's demise, and they still play in very special ocassions, though John Deacon haven't colaborated since 1997.
-These two albums are not a continuation or a two-part album and are not related in a different way than the rest of Queen's albums-
And, before I finish and to crown this journal, another little fact: Bohemian Rapsody is the only song that has reached #1 on British charts TWICE in two completely diferent ocassions, the original release and the re-release after Freddie Mercury's death and is Britain’s third-best-selling single of all time.

October 14, 2009Harry Potter-related questions I found on Tumblr.01. If you went to Hogwarts, which house would you be sorted in? Ravenclaw, or maybe Slytherin, but Ravenclaw is more probable. 02. Have you ever been to a Harry Potter midnight release? Unfortunately, no, but I want to!! 03. What did you think of Deathly Hallows? WHY??, WHY SNAPE?? :'( Great book, but I still think that Ginny/Harry isn't a good couple. He wants a substitute of his mom, that's why he chose a redhead, and that's WEIRD. 04. How many times have you reread the books? I stopped counting in 2007. 05. Whose death was the saddest? I cried the most with Dumbledore's. 06. If you went to Hogwarts, would you rather have a pet owl, cat, or rat? An owl of course. 07. What did you think of the movie Half-Blood Prince? It needs more Snape. And less Burrow-burning. xD 08. What do you think of Deathly Hallows being split in half? It's the best choice, they will cut less parts of the book. But it'll be hard to wait. 09. Have you read The Tales of Beedle the Bard? Yes. 10. When did you first become a Harry Potter fan? When they announced they were going to make a movie out of the books, and they published them in here, my cousin bought The Philosepher's Stone and we read it. I fell in love. It was 2001 and I was 11. Favorites Female Character? Professor McGonnagall Male Character? SNAPE. Professor? I like how Snape makes them suffer, but if I were in Hogwarts, my favorite would be probably Lupin. Death Eater? Bellatrix. She kicks ass. Magical Creature? Hippogrifs Spell? Muffliato is very useful. Also Protego and Aguamenti. Does anyone remember what is Morsmordre for? Is it the one of the Dark Mark? Quote? I have to think it... but I'll end up choosing one from Snape or Dumbledore, I'm pretty sure about it. Book? PoA and HBP Movie? PoA Hogwarts House? Slytherin xD But Ravenclaw looks pretty cool, specially the way you enter to the common room. Place? The Lake. Weasley? The twins and Arthur Couple? Arthur and Molly, Ron and Hermione. This or That Gryffindor or Slytherin? Damn. Gryffindor. Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff? RAVENCLAW!! Fred or George? I CANNOT CHOOSE. I REFUSE TO DO IT. Ginny or Luna? LUNA ALL THE WAY. Butterbeer or Firewhiskey? Butterbeer. Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley? Diagon Alley, but if I were in Hogwarts I thought I'd prefer Hogsmeade. Books or Movies? Books. Half-Blood Prince or Deathly Hallows? Deathly Hallows I think. Sorcerer´s Stone or Chamber of Secrets? Sorcerer's Stone, I don't really like CoS Snape or Slughorn? SNAPE. Lupin or Sirius? Sirius. Harry/Ginny or Harry/Hermione? None. But if I have to choose, H+H. Lavender Brown or Parvati Patil? Parvati. Seamus Finnigan or Dean Thomas? Dean. Kreacher or Dobby? I think Dobby, but Kreacher's story makes me love him too. Muggleborn or Pureblood? Whatever, they're both wizards. Dan Radcliffe or Rupert Grint? Tom Felton. Bellatrix Lestrange or Narcissa Malfoy? Bellatrix. But Narcissa seems like a really sweet mom. Voldemort or Tom Riddle? Tom Riddle. He was hot. Hedwig or Crookshanks? Hedwig.

September 24, 2009Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
After The Runaways disbanded, Joan lived in England, where she pursuited a solo career. After some years she moved to NY and then to LA, where she met producer Kenny Laguna, who convinced her to form the Blackhearts. She placed an ad in the L.A. Weekly and the chosen boys were Gary Ryan, Eric Ambel and Danny O'Brien, later replaced by Ricky Bird and Lee Crystal, respectively. After an Europe tour, and during their first US tour, Jett and Laguna used their personal savings to press up copies of the Joan Jett album and set up their own system of independent distribution, sometimes selling the albums out of the trunk of Laguna's Cadillac at the end of each concert. Laguna was unable to keep up with demand for her album. Eventually, old friend and founder of Casablanca Records, Neil Bogart signed Joan to his new label, Boardwalk Records, and re-released the Joan Jett album as Bad Reputation, and you can see the "Blackheart" in the cover. Joan has released a good number of records where The Blackhearts are not properly credited since they're her band. The records are: -Joan Jett -Bad Reputation -I Love Rock n' Roll -Album -Glorious Results From A Misspent Youth -Good Music -Up Your Alley -The Hit List -Notorious -I Love Rock n' Roll '92 -Pure And Simple -Evil Stig -1979 -Naked -Sinner One of their most succesful singles, "I Love Rock n' Roll" is actually a cover, the original dong is from british band "The Arrows"

September 19, 2009We have discussed the reason why I have friends, seing that I'm such a selfish person.
On Friday, my best friend and I had one of those looong, deep conversations about real life, we talked about a lot of things, included traumas, past, future, and our friendship. We've found out that we have the same goals for different reasons, that she's becoming a more relaxed person (I like that) and that we have a deeper relationship than we thought, even when I'm a controling person and she likes to have everything about her own life in control, so we're both controlers, but I control other people, and she controls herself. It was nice, it's always good to have a real conversation with real people, even if you feel like a total dick when you find out that your best friend felt insulted by your controling manners. I love her.

September 4, 2009War and Peace. World Photography Awards.I read about this amazing photography contest at my school, and yesterday, all the day, I was thinking about ideas, ideas for the photo I was going to submit. That night, I checked the rules online, but aparently, there wasn't anything that prevented me from participate. So I went today to one of the offices at my school to ask more things and see if I could get inscribed, this dude printed the official rules and gave them to me, and told me to come back tommorrow or monday. While I was in the car, I was reading the rules and I found something I didn't see last night: In the webpage, it doesn't say that I have to be taking photography at the moment of entering the contest, and it also doesn't say that all participants have to had finished at least 2 levels of photography. I DON'T EVEN HAVE TAKEN ONE!!! It just says that your school has to be registered in order for students to be accepted in the contest. Anyway, the few hours I was excited about all this, a lot of ideas came to my mind, and I'm not going to waste them. I am going to take all the pics I thought and more, and I'll post them here. I'll be ready next year, and then they'll see!! I was angry, so I started to listen The Sounds and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. After thinking about cutting off the heads of the judges, all my anger was gone. "Off, Off, Off with the heads!!!" Karen O, I love you. If you wanna enter to this contest, check the page!! If your school is registered, you totally should enter!!! And if it's not, you can go to the principal's office and yell at him until you convince him to inscribe the school in the contest, so you can enter xD

August 26, 2009We Came As RomansFresh meat!!!
We Came As Romans is a metalcore band from Detroit, and if you have a really good memory or your January issue of AP magazine, you might want to check it... You did? Well, I think you found out they are the #1 in the "Top 10 Unsigned Bands to Look Out For In 2009" and there's a reason, they are really good at what they do, you probably will enjoy listening to them, even if you don't like this genre. And also, they post updates every time they can, and their "Homemade Video Contest" was pretty fun. They (obviously) are not unsigned anymore, they have a few months being part of Equal Vision Records, and they've released an EP called "Dreams"(You might as well check it out). I couldn't find any of their music here on Buzznet, and they doesn't have a Buzznet account (even though their Myspace profile has a link to Buzznet, it just takes you to the stuff tagged wecameasromans [and I'm the top contribuitor =D]), so I'll provide you the links to their Youtube channel and their Mypace profile. I hope you like them!!

August 19, 2009Blink 182
They're back!!!
I was having a hard time trying to find the words for this write up, I think everybody knows who are they, what they play and that kind of stuff (if you don't, Where have you been living all these years???) Well, they have 5 studio albums called Cheshire Cat (1994), Dude Ranch (1997), Enema of the State (1999), Take Off Your Pants and Jacket (2001) and Blink 182 (2003), and soon another one!!! Most of us grew up listening to this dudes, they are a part of our youth; old people can say they're not that good, but at this point, it doesn't matter anymore, they are BLINK 182. Compete with that. Right now, they are on tour with Weezer, Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco, and an Europe tour is planned for next year. August 10, 2009Trapt
This Californian rock band, best known for a couple of their singles, a video featuring Michelle Trachtenberg with little clothes and for touring with similar acts as Papa Roach, have released 3 albums, 2 EP's and one live album, and they're pretty good I might say, maybe not the best of the best in rock, but c'mon, you listen to worse things! I'll try to show you the songs I consider their best, or the ones I like the most, actually. Their singles are really cool, Headstrong, Echo, Who Is Going Home With You Tonight, Disconected, Waiting, Still Frame, and, this is not a single but I really like it, These Walls . I tried to find good versions here on Buzznet, but I couln't find some of them, And, if you were wondering in which video you pervs can see Michelle Trachtenberg, here it is, it's the video from the song "Echo"

August 2, 2009David Bowie"David Bowie could do anything and it'd be the coolest thing ever."*
Is David Bowie God?? If you watch "Criminal Minds" and/or ask Patrick Stump the answer will be "hell yes!", but let's stick to his career as a mortal: He made some of the most awesome songs I've ever heard, and he has one of the longest and most prolific carrers in music. He did what he wants, he experimented, and the results were an incredible collection of classic glam rock pieces. Usually I choose about 3 songs to post the link in here, but this time I can't. Here are some of my favorite songs from him, but I widely recomend you to listen more; the more, the better. And check this video, it's just awesome!!
No words can be enough to describe how amazing this man is, just listen to his music, your life will be complete, I swear. *Thanks to Alexher123 for the quote Related Groups:

July 31, 2009The TwitterweekEverybody who is part of the Twitterverse (and some who are not) have heard about the "Music Monday" or the "Follow Friday", but what about the rest of the days? The Twitterweek has 5 more days to spend writting non-sense tweets! What about the Tedious Tuesday? You can talk about the things you find boring, it worths a tweet. Or maybe you prefer the Wacky Wednesday? No? You don't find them interesting? And what if there was a "Swingers' Sunday"? More interesting, isn't it? Imagine all the nasty tweets every sunday (make sure your parents don't have a Twitter account in order to enjoy this day). Maybe you can convince Ashlee Simpson to trade her husband with you via twitter (and then wake up from your dream). The Twitterverse is complex, and full of resources, what do you say if we try to name all the days of its week?
(Please, ignore the slightly sarcastic tone of that last phrase)

July 28, 2009What if I start a 365 Project?I think I want to join some photography group or something, I've been in a photographic mood lately. I don't know any photography group, but even if I knew some, I don't think I would join one, I don't like when people force me to do something I don't want to, or, in this case, to take pictures of something just to make it fit with a topic I'm not interested in. People with 365 projects, do you post your pics to a group? The only problem I have with a 365 Project is that I won't be able to post anything on Tuesdays, actually, I won't be able to be online or to do anything apart from school on tuesdays when the semester starts, so, if I start a 365 project, it'll be more like 365 Project minus tuesdays (I was going to write the number of days in a years without tuesdays, but I won't make the counting, there's a reason I chose a career without math or anything related) Anyway. Whatever. I'll just post pics. -EDIT: I solved it; I created a gallery called Day by Day where I'll post pics that represent special days, or just the extraordinary ordinarity of the common days. Check it out, I hope you like it.

July 9, 2009Crushes. Rashes. Brushes. My username. But what does it mean to me? It's my life resumed. Minus the music, I couldn't find anything music related that sounds like the other words xD Crushes: I've always liked the smart guys, the wise-asses, the sarcastics, full of curious facts, sometimes geeky guys. I also like the bad guys, the rebels, my friends always say that I'll end up being a groupie if my band doesn't work
Actually, I think I admire some of my crushes; Oscar Wilde was an awesome writter and a wise, refined and kind of biting person, Patrick Stump knows everything about music, Johnny Depp is an amazing actor and Billie Joe is a rocker with a concience. Rashes: I'm allergic to a lot of weird things. (What's weirder than an allergy to crickets?) When I was little, I coudn't get in the public pools because I was allergic to the products they use to clean it. When I was in 3d grade I got a gross allergic reaction, all my body was covered in like another burnt skin, I don't know how to describe it, but other kids asked me what the hell was going on with my skin, and a girl told me I was going to get cancer. That weird it was. I haven't had an allergy reaction as big as that one since then. Brushes: I don't like to paint, but I came from a family of artists so I'm "naturally talented" for drawing and stuff. I'm studying Design because I wanna learn how to draw and to paint, and also some programs to draw my designs (clothes, I'm not really into graphic design)(yet) And finally, I couldn't include it in my username, but music is my life, my passion and my motivation, the reason I wake up every evening xD or every morning if I have to go to school. If somebody's interestend in doing a band via Internet, I need a bassist, a drummer and a guitarist (I am a guitarrist, but no band can sound decent without a 2nd guitar xD) =D This is kind of my 1000 comments celebration. Everytime I'll get a good number, on buzzes or comments, I'll post something, and I'll try to make it interesting.

July 5, 20091000 Comments!!! How am I gonna celebrate?...I just got 1000 comments on my posts, basically, an average of 2 comments per post, I think it's ok, it's a good number, and I have to celebrate it!!!! The problem here is: How am I gonna celebrate? What should I do? Should I post a journal with embarassing and/or weird stuff about me (or just describing myself)? Maybe a video, my first video, well, the first with me on it, about the same, maybe I should do magic tricks ( I dont know any), jump from my roof, or just scream, jump and be really happy? What do you think? Any ideas?

July 1, 2009Sheena is a Punk Rocker but Maria's a Pop Punk: The History of Punk (1)1- Patti and Lou play with Dolls It was the early 70s, unconformity is in the air, New York is the promised land for artists, musicians, poets and anarchists, hip new clubs are full of new bands playing whatever they want; even when protopunk was never a cohesive movement, what ties proto-punk together is a certain provocative sensibility that didn't fit the prevailing counterculture of the time, it was different, it was temping, it was subversive, it was punk. None of the bands which music was important to stablish the genre on any of the 3 scenes (NY, London, LA) are not considered Punk nor Protopunk, they belong to other genres but time thanks all of them for their contributions; the most important bands in the New York scene were The Velvet Underground (art/experimental rock), Patti Smith (the godmother of punk. Experimental/protopunk), MC5 (whose guitarist Fred "Sonic" Smith [such an interesting and talented dude] was Patti Smith's one and only love, they were married until he died)(Hard rock), and the New York Dolls (hard rock, glam punk, protopunk). The London scene had some good bands too, at the beggining of the movement, Roxy Music (art/glam rock), The Who (hard rock) and David Bowie (mostly glam rock) were the most important people on the scene. Some people cite John Lenon's Plastic Ono Band as a big influence in the development of the British punk scene; also, nobody (as far as I know) mention them, but I think the early records from The Kinks were very important too. But the most important band if not at all, at least for the British scene was The Who; they were the first band with punk attitude, destroying their instruments on stage, and they wrote the first punk song of all times: "My Generation" This song was released on 1965 so tecnically it belongs to the 60's punk, this genre is called "garage rock" by most of the experts to avoid confusions with 70's punk, but "My Generation" is considered puk anyway. The invention of the term "punk rock" is generally credited to critic Dave Marsh who used it in 1970 to describe the group Question Mark & the Mysterians No, The Ramones and the Sex Pistols were NOT pioneers in the genre. Since none of these musicians are really punk, there's not so much left to say about them (by the moment and the circumstances, of course, we can talk days, weeks and maybe months about them) In the next part of these series of journals we'll discuss the boom of punk during the late 70s. Yes, that's the part where your beloved Ramones appear. Here are some videos from these amazing bands: This is why I think The Kinks are punk:
NO, the song is not from Van Halen.
This is a cover from Van Morrison, but it's a very important song on her career because it was her first single and it contains the phrase that will stay written on history as one of the best quotes ever "Jesus died for somebody's sins, but not mine" Patti was raised as a Jehova's witness and she hated it and the conformism that religions involve; she wrote that line to release her frustration.
This song was co-written by Bruce Springsteen.
This is the punkiest of all the videos, I think. The song is called "Personallity Crisis"
Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed it, I'll post parts 2 and 3 (and maybe 4, I'm not sure yet) soon. Meanwhile you can read about the history of Emo (1, 2 and 3) and how it was a really good genre. Related Groups:
